Tony Raines, driver of the #96 DLP HDTV Chevy for Hall of Fame Racing, talked with Juan Pablo Montoya between practice sessions. Raines was looking at a possible top-10 finish at Martinsville until Montoya swerved inside of Raines and sent him into the wall on lap 377 of 500. “I thought we needed to talk about it and find out why it happened to put it behind us so it won’t happen again,” Raines said. “I shared my point of view and he shared his. I didn’t want things to build because sometimes a bunch of little things turns into a big thing.” Raines ended up 20th. Montoya was not available for comment.(Dallas Morning News)(4-14-2007)
