Final testing for the car of yesterday at Lowe’s Motor Speedway ended Tuesday night. The fastest was #2A-Kurt Busch [Dodge] with a speed of 185.644mph [the second fastest lap after #40-Stremme’s 187mph on Monday night] followed by #88B-Ricky Rudd [Ford], #36A-Jeremy Mayfield [Toyota], #84B-A.J. Allmendinger [Toyota] and #12B-Ryan Newman [Dodge]. The fastest Chevy was #15A-Paul Menard at 6th. The only incident during the session came when #38-David Gilliland spun but did not hit the wall.
