Though Jon Wood is on the preliminary entry list in Wood Brothers/JTG Racing’s #47 Ford for the AT&T 250 Busch Series race at the Milwaukee Mile, a team spokesman confirmed Kelly Bires would race the car. Wood has missed two races to deal with what the team is calling a negative reaction to prescription medication given to Wood for a misdiagnosis of attention-deficit disorder. Bires was 15th at Nashville and seventh at Kentucky last weekend. Milwaukee will be his third Busch Series start, and he’ll also compete in the Craftsman Truck Series there this weekend for the team.
