Some Indianapolis Notes:

There have been 13 Nextel Cup Series races at Indianapolis Motor Speedway since the first race there in 1994. Opened in 1909, Indianapolis Motor Speedway is the second-oldest, active track in the world (after The Milwaukee Mile). Eight drivers have competed in all 13 races at Indianapolis: #21-Bill Elliott, #31-Jeff Burton, #24-Jeff Gordon, #44-Dale Jarrett [could miss the race], #43-Bobby Labonte, Sterling Marlin [no ride, will miss the race], #01-Mark Martin, #08-Joe Nemechek [could miss the race]. Eight of 13 races at Indianapolis have been won from a top-10 starting position.
