Positions 10-12 Are in Play: #10-Clint Bowyer (+160), #11-Martin Truex (+45), and #12-Kurt Busch (+7) are very much in play with five races left in The Race to The Chase. #13-Dale Jr. (-7), and #14-Ryan Newman (-90) are in strong contention. #15-Mark Martin (-216), #16-Greg Biffle (-216), #17-Jamie McMurray (-252) #18-Juan Pablo Montoya (-267) and #19-Casey Mears (-286) have to be considered real long shots at this point. With a good run at Watkins-Glen, frontrunner Jeff Gordon can tie up the first of 12 Chase spots Sunday. The magic margin for Gordon to come out of The Glen with is 781 points in front of 13th place.
