As far as sponsorship for Roush Fenway Racing’s Busch Series teams, team president Geoff Smith said that Discount Tire will return with David Ragan next season and a group of companies will sponsor Carl Edwards. A third team is being explored, possibly for Travis Kvapil. There will also be select races for Matt Kenseth, Greg Biffle and Jamie McMurray. “We’re really pleased with the job Travis has done for us in the truck series,” Smith said. “He came in. We believed in his talent. … We’d like to keep him in our program.” Todd Kluever, who has competed in the Busch Series with Greg Biffle this year, is free to look for other opportunities, Smith said. “We told him we don’t have sponsorship for a program for him for next year and he shouldn’t rely on us to do that,” Smith said. “He is free to look at other opportunities.”(SceneDaily.com)(8-26-2007)
