#88-Brad Keselowski was transported to a local hospital after a vicious wreck during Saturday night’s Camping World 300 Busch Series race at California Speedway. Keselowski was awake and alert when he was taken by helicopter to a medical center, complaining of foot pain. Keselowski was on the bottom of a four-wide situation and was the third car hit in a chain reaction, which sent him into the wall at 140 mph on impact, according to television telemetry. The violent collision resulted in Keselowski’s #88 JR Motorsports Chevy spinning around and landing on AJ Allmendinger’s hood before skating along the top of the wall with a trail of fire behind it. He was removed from the car but appeared to be in pain, and he was placed into an ambulance on a backboard. UPDATE: Brad Keselowski was examined and released from Loma Linda University Medical Center Saturday night after a crash in the Camping World 300 at California Speedway. Keselowski was airlifted to the hospital, where he underwent CT Scanning and x-rays on his left ankle and chest. As standard procedure, he will have further evaluation by Dr. Jerry Petty upon his return to North Carolina.(JR Motorsports PR)(9-2-2007)
