Tim Sauter was the Raybestos Rookie of the Race in the September 15 New Hampshire 200 at New Hampshire International Speedway. Sauter scored a 23rd-place finish and took top rookie honors for the third time this season. Willie Allen was the only Raybestos Rookie to lead the New Hampshire race, holding the top spot once for six laps. Allen has led twice in two races for a total of 29 laps this season. Sauter leads Allen by two points (129-127) in the Raybestos Rookie standings entering the September 22 Smith’s Las Vegas 350 at Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway. Sauter is 16th in the Craftsman Truck Series championship standings, best of any Raybestos Rookie. He is 12 points ahead of 17th-place Allen. Marcos Ambrose was the Raybestos Rookie of the Race in the 2006 Smith’s Las Vegas 350, grabbing a seventh-place finish.
