Willie Allen was the Raybestos Rookie of the Race in the October 6 Mountain Dew 250 at Talladega Superspeedway. Allen scored a sixth-place finish, his first top-10 of the 2007 season, and took Raybestos Rookie of the Race honors for the third time this season. He scored the best finish by a Raybestos Rookie in two Craftsman Truck Series races at Talladega and equaled his best effort in 23 Craftsman Truck Series starts. Allen also scored a sixth-place finish at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway on October 22, 2005. Allen holds a four-point advantage (144-140) over Tim Sauter in the Raybestos Rookie standings entering the October 20 Kroger 200 at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. Allen is 15th in the Craftsman Truck Series championship standings, best of any Raybestos Rookie. He is 24 points ahead of 16th-place Sauter.
