Truex is the 17th Budweiser Pole winner in 2007 and there are now 22 drivers eligible for the 2008 Budweiser Shootout. #24-Gordon qualified second and just missed taking the pole from Truex, the rest of the top-10 are: #42-Montoya, #29-Harvick, #84-Allmendinger [tied speed with Harvick who is higher in owners pts and gets the 4th spot], #2-Busch, #11-Hamlin, #48-Johnson, #25-Mears and #01-Martin.
