Just five weeks into announcing their takeover of Darrel Waltrip Racing’s Craftsman Truck Series team, the newly formed TRG Motorsports is proud to announce their most recent signing to the team, General Manager Marty Gaunt, to run their NASCAR operation in N.C. As a 25-year veteran of the racing and automotive business, the London-born Gaunt brings with him a wealth of experience and resources, with a history that includes working with such NASCAR teams as Penske Racing, Petty Enterprises, and most recently, the start-up Team Red Bull. As the team’s new General Manager, Gaunt will take over the day-to-day activities of building up the organization and infrastructure, allowing the team’s new owner to focus on the business side, as well as long-term strategy.(TRG Motorsports PR)(11-28-2007)
