Ricky “Biscuit” Bowman, 46, of Hickory, passed away Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. Bowman was general manager of Dale Jarrett Inc. and had worked for Dale for 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Annette M. Bowman; his parents, Charles and Toni Bowman; one brother, Dennis Bowman of Hickory; a grandparent, Estelle Carswell of Valdese; mother and father in law, Jerry and Judy Miller of Catawba; brother in law, TJ Miller of Catawba; sister in law and nephew, Cissy and Joshua Prevette of Catawba; and numerous other family members. He also is survived by special friends, Dale and Kelley Jarrett, Terry and Teresa Shook, Kristen and Kelly Shook, Mark (Digger) and Donna Shook, Bruce Simmons, and his beloved dog, Roscoe. The funeral service was held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at Highland United Methodist Church in Hickory, with Pastor Stuart Noell officiating. Burial followed in Catawba Memorial Park in Hickory.
