Cunningham Motorsports team owner, Kerry Scherer, has announced that the newly formed entity of CHS Motorsports will compete in the Craftsman Truck Series for the 2008 season. Owners, Briggs Cunningham, Carl Hartman and Kerry Scherer will carry the Dodge Motorsports banner in the NCTS. The race team is located in Lexington, North Carolina and Scherer, a top competitor in the ARCA REMAX Series, will partner with Cunningham and Hartman to field Dodge Rams in the series this year. The formation of the CHS Motorsports NCTS team will allow for additional growth and opportunities for young drivers graduating from the Cunningham Motorsports Official Dodge Driver development program.
