during the first practice session for the Budweiser Shootout at the Daytona International Speedway, Dr, Dick Berggren reported that only one part had been confiscated from any car/team, a change in the way it used to be at Daytona when many parts would not make it thru ‘the room of doom’ [NASCAR Inspection garage], the one piece, a Dodge nose from the #7 Dodge of Robby Gordon, who just last week switched from Ford to Dodge. There could be a fine announced sometime in the near future.(2-9-2008) .
