Joey Logano grudgingly played spectator during the Budweiser Shootout Saturday night at Daytona. It’s a game the 17-year-old driver knows he’s going to have to play for a while, though he’s not happy doing so. “I just want to be racing right now and I don’t have anywhere to do it,” Logano said. “It’s really pretty aggravating watching everybody and not being able to drive.” Logano is stuck in limbo until he turns 18 May 24, when he will be eligible for the Nationwide Series. He’s scheduled to make his Nationwide debut May 31 at Dover for Joe Gibbs Racing. Until then, beyond testing for Gibbs’ Sprint Cup teams, he doesn’t know when he’ll be on the track.(Hartford Courant)(2-13-2008)
