#10-Patrick Carpentier won the Coor’s Light Pole for the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with a speed of 129.776mph for his first career pole in 17 races. Carpentier is the first rookie to win a pole since Denny Hamlin captured the top starting spot for the 2006 Chevy Rock & Roll 400 at Richmond International Raceway (62 races ago).
