Nationwide Series Live in Prime Time from St. Louis on ESPN2:

ESPN2 continues its season-long coverage of the Nationwide Series with a live, prime-time telecast of the event from Gateway International Raceway near St. Louis on Saturday, July 19, beginning at 9 p.m. ET with NASCAR Countdown. The telecast from the 1.25-mile track also airs in high definition on ESPN2 HD, and is simulcast on ESPN360.com, ESPNMobileTV and ESPN Deportes. Dr. Jerry Punch will be ESPN2’s lead announcer, joined in the booth for analysis by Dale Jarrett and Andy Petree. Dave Burns, Mike Massaro and Shannon Spake will report from the pits, while D.J. Copp, a member of Bobby Labonte’s NASCAR pit crew and a frequent contributor to ESPN’s NASCAR Now, will fill in for analyst Tim Brewer in the ESPN Tech Center. Punch also hosts NASCAR Countdown. Nationwide Series driver Landon Cassill joins the ESPN team as In-Race Reporter and will talk to Jarrett on the race’s pace laps and during caution periods. ESPN2 also airs coverage of qualifying for the event at 5 p.m. on Saturday, and coverage of final practice on Friday, July 18, at 7 p.m.(ESPN PR)(7-14-2008)
