The Kyle Petty’s Annual Charity Ride drew closer to its conclusion Friday. The Chick-fil-A Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America raises funds for charities that support chronically ill children and engages celebrities, ride sponsors, motorcycle enthusiasts and fans. Since 1995, more than 5,700 riders have logged 7.2 million cumulative motorcycle miles and donated more than $10.5 million to children’s charities. Friday’s route began in Charlotte, NC and ran to Peachtree City, GA. The ride concludes on Saturday. For more information on the ride, see my Racing Charities page.(7-19-2008)
