TRG Motorsports is pleased to announce that 19-year-old Ben Stancill has been signed to a driver development deal that is aimed at preparing the North Carolina native for a full-time assault on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2009. Stancill is scheduled to participate in two test sessions and two races for TRG Motorsports in an ARCA RE/MAX Series stock car in an effort to gain clearance by NASCAR to compete in the Craftsman Truck Series full-time next year. Stancill will be behind the wheel of a TRG Motorsports prepared ARCA RE/MAX Series car on Tuesday, August 19th at the ARCA sanctioned test at Chicagoland Speedway. His first race for TRG Motorsports will be at Chicago’s 1.5-mile tri-oval on September 6th. Stancill will then test at Talladega Superspeedway on September 17th and 18th in preparation for the October 3rd race at the famed superspeedway.(TRG Motorsports PR)(8-18-2008)
