Goodyear held a tire test at the Kansas with the #1 Dale Earnhardt Incorporated Chevy (Martin Truex Jr.) and #96 Hall of Fame Racing Toyota (Brad Coleman) on August 26 . . . at that test, Goodyear confirmed a new left-side tire code (D-4132), which incorporates an updated construction that has a strong track record at the intermediate tracks this year, according to Rick Campbell, Goodyear’s NASCAR project manager … the right-side code at Kansas (D-4150), has been run twice by teams in these two series at California this season . . . as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one-mile in length, teams are required to run inner liners in all four tire positions at Kansas . . . air pressure in those inner lines should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire. The estimated pit window is every 50-55 laps, based on fuel mileage.(Goodyear PR) see pressures, codes and more on my Kansas Race Info page or see codes for each race on my 2008 Tire Notes page.(9-26-2008)
