Jamie Praytor lost her battle with cancer earlier today. Jamie is the mother of Tommy Praytor who contributes to the Public Relations efforts for Circle Bar Racing with drivers Rick Crawford and Brendan Gaughan and is also the host of the weekly racing radio program, “Inside Alabama.” Jamie is also survived by two other children, Ellen & Wilson. In 1974 she founded Praytor Realty spending the remainder of her career giving back to the Realtor Community. In 2001 Jamie was chosen First Lady of Mobile, and over the last 25 years, her small company has produced five Realtor presidents and four Realtor’s of the Year. In 2008 the Mobile Association of Realtors honored Jamie’s commitment to others by creating the Jamie C. Praytor Community Service Award. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00pm, Sunday, November 16th, and 10:00 to 11:00am, Monday, November 17th prior to a Memorial Service at 11:00am at All Saints Episcopal Church.
