Red Horse Racing has announced that it will field a two truck team in Daytona with TJ Bell piloting the #11 Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra in NextEra Energy Resources 150. Bell will partner with 2008 defending series champion Johnny Benson, who announced his ride in RHR’s #1 Toyota truck in December. For Daytona, Bell’s #11 truck will feature the charity Home4theHolidays.org in the primary hood location. Bell is spokesperson for the organization that urges families to adopt their new pets from shelters and rescue groups during the holiday season. The 2009 inaugural NASCAR Camping World Truck race will mark Bell’s first time racing at Daytona in one of NASCAR’s top three elite series. In the off-season, Bell concentrated on his personal training and is eager to see it payoff in improved performance on-track. Bell will be paired with RHR crew chief, Rick Gay, who worked with former RHR driver David Starr for several races in 2008.
