Looks likes US Fidelis will be a sponsor of the #66 in some amount this season. Their website states: “We are proud sponsors of Steve Wallace and Rusty Wallace Racing. You can learn more about this season by visiting the official Rusty Wallace website.” [the RWI site has no mention of the sponsorship at this point]. See an image of the car on the #66 Paint schemes page.(2-9-2009)
UPDATE: USfidelis, Inc. and Rusty Wallace Racing, LLC announced that USfidelis, through its USfidelis brand of extended vehicle service coverage, will serve as primary sponsor of RWR’s #66 Chevy, with driver Steve Wallace, in 25 2009 Nationwide Series events. USfidelis’s 25-race program begins with the February season opener at Daytona International Speedway. The company’s 25 races complement a previously-announced ten-race commitment for the #66 from 5-Hour Energy and completes the 2009 primary sponsorship for the younger Wallace and the #66 team. RWR’s #62 Chevy, driven by Brendan Gaughan, will be sponsored for a number of races in 2009 by South Point Hotel and Casino. The team plans to announce the full sponsor lineup for the #62 shortly.(RWI PR)(2-10-2009)
