Nitro Racing based out of Fort Worth, Texas is planning on competing in at least 7 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series events this season. Team owner Ray Jones has purchased two 2007 Chevrolet Silverado’s from Kevin Harvick Inc. Jones has secured sponsorship from Fort Worth based company Fodor’s Travel Guides for 7 events starting at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March. Fodor’s provides users to plan trips easily and effectively. “We feel like in these tough economic times that fielding a truck team for a partial season in Truck Series will help us get our foot in the door to NASCAR racing and hopefully being able to compete in a full schedule in 2010.” said Jones. The driver of the #35 Fodor’s Travel Guides Silverado is going to be 27 year old Auggie Vidovich of Lakeside, California.
