UDPATE: Kenny Wallace denied published reports that he will run the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Darlington in May for his Nationwide team owner, Jay Robinson Racing. Speaking on Sirius NASCAR Radio’s Sirius Speedway, Wallace said, “We do have a Cup car, an old James Finch car. We’re concerned that the car may be too old and heavy, though. It’s out of date, not a new generation car. It’s not as light as it needs to be. The difference between this car and some of the newer ones may be only 15 or 30 pounds, but that’s a lot. We definitely want to run a Cup race or two, but I’m not sure when we’ll attempt it. It definitely won’t be Darlington.
