NASCAR announced that Michael Allen, crew chief for the #91 Chevy driven by Terry Cook in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, has been fined due to rule violations during this past Fridays event at Darlington Raceway. Allen was fined $2,500 for violating Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing); 12-4-1 (any determination by NASCAR officials that the race equipment used in the event does not conform to NASCAR rules) and 20A-12.1A(10) (jacking bolt must be made of solid magnetic steel: hollow bolt) of the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series rule book.
