Hearing that Tripp Bruce, who served as Johnny Benson’s crew chief at Red Horse Racing until the team shut down last week, is the new crew chief for #62-Brendan Gaughan. No word on whether or not its a permanent change.(6-16-2009)

UPDATE 2: Officials of Rusty Wallace Racing announced that reigning NASCAR Truck Series champion crew chief, Trip Bruce, has been named crew chief for Steve Wallace and the team’s #66 entry, effective immediately. The team further announced that after leading Wallace to his current top-ten ranking, former #66 crew chief, Dale Ferguson, has been promoted to the role of Lead Engineer for the organization. Ferguson will also serve as Wallace’s Race Engineer for the remainder of the 2009 Nationwide Series season.(RWI PR)(6-17-2009)
