5-time ARCA Daytona 200 winner Bobby Gerhart will return to the site of his greatest successes, Daytona International Speedway, when he competes in the NASCAR Nationwide Series Subway Jalapeno 250 powered by Coca-Cola on July 3rd. Gerhart will drive the Bob Schacht Motorsports #75 Chevy with support from long-time sponsor, Lucas Oil. This will be the second Nationwide race of the season for the Gerhart – Schacht combination. Their first outing was at Talladega in April. Bobby had moved up to 8th place with 4 laps to go but was relegated to a 33rd place finish after getting collected when #12-Justin Allgaier spun.(Gerhart PR)(7-2-2009)
