Raybestos Rookie Notes – Chicago:


Justin Allgaier was the Raybestos Rookie of the Race in the Subway Jalapeno 250 at Daytona. Allgaier posted an eighth-place finish, his eighth top-10 of the season, and claimed top rookie honors for the fourth time in 2009.
At least one Raybestos Rookie has scored top-10 finishes in the last 15 consecutive NASCAR Nationwide Series races.
Allgaier leads Brendan Gaughan by six points (176-170) in the overall Raybestos Rookie standings entering the Dollar General at Chicagoland Speedway.
Allgaier is sixth in the NASCAR Nationwide Series championship standings, best of any Raybestos Rookie. He trails fifth-place Joey Logano by 194 points and leads seventh-place Mike Bliss by 20.
Brendan Gaughan (eighth) is the only other Raybestos Rookie currently ranked inside the top-10 in the series championship standings.
Two Raybestos Rookies have won pole positions during the 2009 NASCAR Nationwide Series season: Gaughan and Erik Darnell.
Landon Cassill was the Raybestos Rookie of the Race in the 2008 Dollar General 300, scoring a 10th-place finish.
