UPDATE: Statement from RAB Racing’s Robert Benton: “RAB Racing stringently adheres to a zero tolerance policy concerning drug abuse. The licensee in question has been released and replaced moving forward for violating the sanctioning body’s substance abuse policy and our company stands behind the actions taken by NASCAR in regards to this matter. Obviously, it is a very unfortunate situation for all parties involved, but we strongly support NASCAR’s continued efforts to promote a safe work environment.”(RAB PR)(8-26-2009)
