Gaughan finishes second in Grand Am race:

While many believed that a NASCAR driver could end up on the Grand-Am podium earlier today in Montral, it may not have been the one that they expected. In just his first Grand American Rolex Sports Car Series start, Rusty Wallace Racing’s Brendan Gaughan teamed with TRG and veteran road racer, Andy Lally, to capture a GT class runner-up finish in today’s Montral 200 at the legendary Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. After qualifying the #66 South Point Casino Porsche GT3 in the tenth position, Gaughan completed the first half of the event, before handing the wheel off to his teammate.(RWI PR)(8-30-2009)
