#28-Kenny Wallace will add another highlight to his resume by making his 800th career NASCAR start in Friday night’s event under the lights at Richmond. Entering the NASCAR ranks for the first time in 1988 driving for Dale Earnhardt Sr. in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (then Busch) Advance Auto 150 at Martinsville Speedway, Wallace went on to win the 1989 Rookie of the Year Award following his first full season driving a car for his brother, Rusty Wallace. Amassing 190 top 10’s and 13 poles in NASCAR’s top three national-touring series, including the only driver to be voted Nationwide Series’ Most Popular Driver three times (’91,’94,’06), Wallace’s career has been a storied one, including 444 starts in the Nationwide Series, 344 in the Cup Series as well as 11 starts in what is now known as the Camping World Truck Series.(WSM Group PR)(9-8-2009)
