While Jimmie Johnson focuses on a fourth straight championship, Robby Gordon has a title of his own to clinch this week. Leading the SCORE International Off-Road Standings, Gordon plans to race the #77 Monster Energy / Toyo Tire Trophy Truck in the Baja 1000, the final event of the season held November 19th-22nd on the Baja peninsula in Mexico. Truck Series driver Matt Crafton has been hired to practice and qualify Gordon’s #7 Sprint Cup Series Toyota, with the driver/owner expected to return in time for the start of the 400-mile race on Sunday.
