NASCAR officials announced after the race that all cars had passed technical inspection at Homestead-Miami Speedway. NASCAR also announced that the cars of #11-Denny Hamlin, #31-Jeff Burton, #48-Jimmie Johnson and #5-Mark Martin would be confiscated and taken to the series research and development center in Concord, N.C. for a thorough inspection.
