In a media advisory issued by JR Motorsports, they list Kelly Bires as “driver of the #88 Hellmann’s Chevy” and Tony Eury Sr., as “competition director for JRM and crew chief of the #88 Hellmann’s Chevy”. Hellman’s was on the #88 in 2009 along with other Unilver products. The team is reportedly looking for sponsorship to run a full season.(12-10-2009)
UPDATE: Dale Earnhardt, Jr. said Thursday that there were “A couple holes to fill with sponsorship of the #88.” However, Kelley Earnhardt Elledge said they are committed to run the car the full season.(12-17-2009)
