Joe Gibbs Racing’s Kyle Busch said he won’t run the full NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule in 2010 as team president J.D. Gibbs vetoed Busch’s hopes of going for a second consecutive title. Before the 2009 awards ceremony last November in Miami, Busch said he hoped to talk Gibbs into letting him add enough races to his schedule to contend for the championship. But at NASCAR Media Day at Daytona International Speedway, Busch said that’s not likely to happen. “I think it’s pretty much decided now that we’re running the 25-26 (Nationwide) races,” Busch said Thursday. “Of course, we’re running the full Sprint Cup Series schedule and about 15 truck races.”(NNS Racing)(2-4-2010)
