Baker Curb Racing has hired veteran crew chief Rick Viers to call the shots on Greg Biffle’s #27 Red Man Moist Snuff Ford. Viers will assume duties February 10th when the Nationwide Series garage opens at 6:00 a.m. Viers most recently worked at JD Motorsports in 2009 as a crew chief for Mike Wallace and Danny O’Quinn. He served as NASCAR Sprint Cup series crew chief on AJ Allmendinger’s #84 at Red Bull Racing in 2007 and 2008. Viers has 8 career victories as a Nationwide Series crew chief calling the shots for notable drivers Kevin Harvick, Clint Bowyer, Ron Hornaday and Johnny Sauter.(Baker Curb PR)(2-9-2010)
