UPDATE 2: “Blanton Motorsports, Inc. and GetMoreVacations.com is proud to have Johnny Sauter as our driver for Daytona. We appreciate Johnny’s truck team, Thorsport Racing, allowing him to run this one race for us. Blanton Motorsports, Inc. and GetMoreVacations.com had hoped to race at the California event but, with a small team, we do not have our intermediate car finished for that race. Our team has been working around the clock to get our speedway car ready for Daytona but we are very optimistic about being ready to compete at Las Vegas. As for the rest of the year’s schedule, we are evaluating our options as we progress through the season. Our intention is to compete primarily at the tracks based in the Southeast. We are currently talking with several drivers about driving the 48 car for the balance of the season but nothing has been finalized as of this moment.(GetMoreVacations.com PR)(2-10-2010), see an image of the car on the #48 team paint schemes page.(2-10-2010)
