#14-Tony Stewart and #39-Ryan Newman’s teams changed engines in those cars on Sunday morning, so both will have to fall to the rear at the start of the Kobalt Tools 500 Sprint Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Newman was scheduled to start 7th and Stewart 15th. Both run Hendrick Motorsports engines, the #39 ‘new’ engine came off the #88 hauler. Both reported valve train problems. Also going to the rear is #16-Greg Biffle, who wrecked in Happy Hour practice and will be in a backup car, he was scheduled to start 13th. So all the drivers on the inside [odd] starting postions will move up a few spots.(3-7-2010)
