Kyle Busch won the Bashas’ Supermarket 200 at Phoenix International Raceway. It was his 32nd series win in his 179th start, passing Jack Ingram for third in all-time wins.
Busch won his third Nationwide race at Phoenix, joining Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards for the most wins at the 1-mile track. It was Busch’s fifth overall win at PIR (three in Nationwide, one in Cup, one in Trucks).
Busch led three times for a race-high 126 laps, including the final five.
Busch was penalized for jumping the restart on Lap 137 while leading and was required to do a pass-through on Lap 149.
Joe Gibbs Racing notched its 44th series victory and second win in 2010.
It was Toyota’s second series win in 2010.
Kevin Harvick (second) finished in the top six for the 14th time in his last 15th starts.
Brad Keselowski (third) finished in the top five for the fifth straight race, the longest current streak. Keselowski took over the points lead by four over Carl Edwards — the first time that Keselowski has led the Nationwide standings.
Brendan Gaughan (fourth) finished in the top 10 for the second time this season.
Greg Biffle (fifth) has finished in the top 10 in his past four series starts.
Scott Lagasse Jr. (eighth) finished in the top 10 for the first time this season.
Ricky Stenhouse (ninth) finished in the top 20 for the first time this season. He was the best-finishing rookie of the year contender.
