Kahne to run military scheme in Coke 600 and Coke Zero 400:

  • Kasey Kahne made quite a few headlines this week after announcing his ownership change for 2012. But, on Friday night, Kahne avoided any of those questions and headed down to Fort Hood to spend time with members in the U.S. Armed Forces. At the event, Kahne unveiled a new Armed Forces paint scheme for his #9 Budweiser Ford with red camouflage and a ‘Budweiser Is Proud To Serve Those Who Serve’ decal on the hood. It is part of Budweiser’s partnership with the USO to honor the country’s service men and women. Kahne will run the die-cast car during the May 30 race at Charlotte Motor Speedway and the July 3 race at Daytona International Speedway. TMS also took care of the Fort Hood soldiers, giving away 500 tickets for today’s Samsung 500.(Dallas Morning News)
