Jeff Green will be hunting big game this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway, which carries the moniker of NASCARs Most Competitive Track. In his sights will be 48 other entries for the Saturday Aarons 312 competition. At Daytona in February Green finished 27th in his only previous start this year. The Owensboro, KY native earned the NASCAR Nationwide series Championship in 2000, placed 2nd in the preceding and following years, but has not competed full-time in the series since moving up to the Cup-level in 2002. Bad Boy Buggies returns as the primary sponsor this weekend for the #40 Chevy.
