Chicago Rookie Notes:


Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was the Raybestos Rookie of the Race in the Subway Jalapeno 250 at Daytona International Speedway. Stenhouse Jr. scored a career-best third-place finish, his second top-five in 22 NASCAR Nationwide Series races. He claimed the fourth top-10 of his young career and grabbed top rookie honors f or the third time this season.
Raybestos Rookie Parker Kligerman scored a 13th-place finish at Daytona, his best in six NASCAR Nationwide Series starts. Kligerman started second at Daytona, the best qualifying effort by a Raybestos Rookie in 2010.
Brian Scott leads Ricky Stenhouse Jr. by 17 points (169-152) in the overall Raybestos Rookie standings entering the 9 Dollar General 300 at Chicagoland Speedway.
Justin Allgaier was the Raybestos Rookie of the Race in the 2009 Dollar General 300, scoring a 10th-place finish. Johnny Sauter is the only Raybestos Rookie race winner at Chicagoland Speedway (nine races). Sauter captured the 2002 race, taking the checkered flag .420 seconds ahead of Todd Bodine.
Two Raybestos Rookies finished inside the top-10 at Chicagoland only once: 2005: Carl Edwards, fourth; 2005: Reed Sorenson, 10th
Kyle Busch is the only Raybestos Rookie to lead the most laps at Chicagoland. Busch led three times for 49 laps on his way to a 12th-place finish in 2004.
