Goodyear Tire Notes — Pocono:

Teams in both NASCAR series in action at Pocono this weekend will run the same tire codes, though the Sprint Cup tires will be branded “Goodyear Eagle,” while those for the Camping World Trucks will be branded “Goodyear Wrangler” . . . this is the same combination of left- and right-side tires that Sprint Cup teams ran at Pocono in June . . . Cup teams also ran this combination at both races at Pocono last season . . . for the Camping World Truck Series, this combination has been run the last two seasons at Iowa Speedway . . . it was confirmed for Pocono at a Goodyear tire test at the track on May 17 . . . Truck Series drivers participating in that test were Todd Bodine, Kyle Busch, Austin Dillon, Mike Skinner and Jason White . . . as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run inner liners in all four tire positions at Pocono . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
