Good Year Tire Notes – Darlington:

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams will be running the same combination of left- and right-side tires that Sprint Cup and Nationwide teams ran at Darlington earlier this season . . . this tire set-up was confirmed for the trucks at a Goodyear test at Darlington on March 9 . . . drivers participating in that test were Aric Almirola and Timothy Peters . . . while this is the first time truck teams will race on this left-side tire code (D-4328), they have run on this right-side code (D-4234) at Charlotte (2009 and 2010) and Las Vegas (2009) in the past . . . . they are also scheduled to run this right-side at Las Vegas again next month . . . as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run inner liners in all four tire positions at Darlington . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
