#48-Jimmie Johnson’s win at Dover catapulted him from 6th to 2nd in the 2010 Chase standings. It was Johnson’s 19th win in 62 Chase races, a sizzling 31% rate. The next best win rate is #99-Carl Edwards, who has 6 wins in 42 Chase races.(Note only counting wins for drivers in the years they were in the Chase field). #16-Greg Biffle (-140), #14-Tony Stewart (-162), #17-Matt Kenseth (-165) and #33-Clint Bowyer (-235) are all in trouble early in the Chase. Only Johnson has overcome a triple-digit deficit after two races to win the title. In 2006, Johnson was in eighth, down 136 points after Dover. He went on to win his first championship.
