Pink scheme for Sadler at Kansas:

  • For the third consecutive year Stanley is partnering with Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Sadler’s #19 Ford will carry the colors and logo of Susan G. Komen for the Cure this weekend at Kansas. Elliott Sadler on Kansas: “I’m really excited about this weekend’s race. Kansas Speedway is a great track and I love to race there, but I’m equally as excited about our Susan G. Komen for the Cure paint scheme. My mom, who has always been my biggest fan, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007, so this is a cause that is very near and dear to my heart. You very rarely meet a person who hasn’t been affected in some way, shape or form by cancer and I’m proud to be wearing pink and driving the pink Stanley/Susan G. Komen Ford Fusion this weekend in support of that organization. This paint scheme is another example of the wonderful organization that my sponsor, Stanley, supports.”
Since 2008, Stanley has donated over $265,000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Fans will have the opportunity to bid on one of a kind items worn by Richard Petty and Elliott Sadler during the Kansas race weekend. The items available will include a custom Charlie 1 Horse cowboy hat made exclusively for Richard Petty and signed by The King himself. Elliott Sadler fans will have the chance to bid on his Kansas race-used uniform, including Sadler’s Stanley – Susan G. Komen for the Cure firesuit. All proceeds will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure. To learn more about breast health and breast cancer, visit http://komen.org.(RPM)(10-1-2010)
