#2 Miller Lite Dodge driver Kurt Busch will be aiming for a piece of history in Saturday nights Bank of America 500 as he will try to be the first driver ever to win all three NASCAR Sprint Cup races at Charlotte Motor Speedway during the same year. “The two consecutive winning weekends we had at Charlotte back in May will always stand out as some of the most memorable weekends of my career,” Busch said. “Man, to make it a clean sweep at Charlotte in one season would be something I’d be proud of the rest of my career. Heck, it’d be something I could brag about to my children and grandchildren many years from now…how cool!”
Winston Kelley, who heads the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, announced last week that Buschs winning Miller Lite Dodge would be a new addition to the facility — eventually — if the ‘Blue Deuce’Â team can win the race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday night.(Tom Roberts PR)(10-14-2010)
