TaxSlayer, a tax preparation service that completes millions of tax returns each year for its customers, has agreed to a sponsorship deal with JR Motorsports’ NASCAR Nationwide Series program for 2011. TaxSlayer, based in Evans, Ga., will have its familiar red-and-black branding on JR Motorsports Chevys for nine races. Two of those primary placements will be on Aric Almirola’s #88 Chevy at Phoenix International Raceway (Feb. 26) and Las Vegas Motor Speedway (March 5), while team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. will race a TaxSlayer-sponsored Chevy at Bristol Motor Speedway on March 19.
