*Ron Hornaday Jr. won the Camping World Truck Series Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway on Saturday driving for Kevin Harvick Inc. He led once for the final 11 laps. It was Hornaday’s series-leading 47th career victory in his 271st start and his first win at Martinsville in his 17th start. It also was Hornaday’s second win of 2010, as his first came at O’Reilly Raceway Park. Hornaday has won at 30 different tracks in the series. Hornaday moved from seventh to sixth in points, 40 out of fifth place.
*Hornaday’s victory was the 32nd for Kevin Harvick Inc. It was the team’s sixth win in 2010. KHI has won three times at Martinsville with all of those coming in the past four races there.
*This was the first time since 2008 that both Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick were in the same race and one of them failed to win.
*This was the ninth win of 2010 for Chevrolet. Toyota has won the 12 other races thus far. It was Chevy’s ninth win at Martinsville.
*The top 10 consisted of six Toyotas and four Chevrolets.
*Busch (finished second) earned his eighth top-two finish in 12 starts this season.
*Todd Bodine (third) drove to his 15th top-5 finish this season and padded his championship lead by 20 points, raising it to 282. It is the largest points lead with four races to go in series history.
*Jason White (fourth) tied his best finish of the season.
*Aric Almirola (fifth), who is second in the standings, earned his ninth straight top-10 finish but has lost 133 points to Bodine during that stretch.
*B.J. McLeod (17th), C.E. Falk (25th), Amber Cope (26th), Angela Cope (30th), Matt Lofton (31st) and Cody Cambensy (32nd) made their series debuts.
